Austin Cindric Joins Ford Multimatic Motorsports for Rolex 24 at Daytona

Ford Performance NASCAR Cup driver Austin Cindric will compete with the Ford Multimatic Motorsports team in the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona. He's stepping in for Ben Barker, who sustained a broken collarbone in a holiday skiing accident. Cindric will join teammates Mike Rockenfeller and Sebastian Priaulx in the Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang GT3.

This marks Cindric's sixth time competing in the Rolex 24, and he believes the Mustang GT3 will help him perform impressively.

Mooresville, NC-native Cindric is a multi-time race winner in the NASCAR Cup Series. One of his major wins came in 2022 when he captured victory at the Daytona 500 while driving a Team Penske Mustang. Before entering the world of stock car racing, Cindric competed in a variety of sports car racing events across the U.S. He's familiar with Ford's development vehicles, like the Mustang GT4, and has four Michelin Pilot Challenge starts at Daytona with Multimatic Motorsports, including a 2019 win alongside Priaulx at Road Atlanta.

2025 marks the 10-year anniversary of Cindric's first race with Multimatic and Ford at Daytona. His team is excited to have him back, and Cindric is eager to prepare for the January 26th race.
