The F-150 Lightning has quickly risen to the top of the electric truck segment by offering both robust capability and efficient EV driving. Built on the same foundation as the Ford F-150, the Lightning replaces the gasoline engine with a fully electric powertrain. The 2025 Lightning is available in five trims.

The Pro base trim features vinyl upholstery and flooring, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a factory trailer hitch. It includes satellite radio, a digital instrument display, a 12-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 120V outlet. It rides on 18-inch wheels, sports LED headlights, and supports DC fast charging.

The XLT replaces vinyl with carpeted floors, adds a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather steering wheel, under-seat storage, and extra safety technology.

The Flash trim upgrades to 20-inch wheels, a power tailgate with integrated step, a 15.5-inch touchscreen, a heated steering wheel, push-button start, keyless entry, wireless charging, an eight-speaker B&O audio system, BlueCruise hands-free driving, and additional safety features.

Lariat adds a dual-panel sunroof, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and leather upholstery.

The Platinum trim tops the lineup with 22-inch wheels, a 14-speaker premium audio system, massaging front seats, premium leather trim, a towing package, and Pro Power Onboard providing 9.6 kW.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 F-150 Lightning Have?

Standard dual motors produce 452 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque. The extended-range battery on upper trims boosts output to 580 hp and extends range.
