2020 Ford Expedition

What's New For the 2020 Ford Expedition?

In 2020, you can look forward to changes inside and out with the Ford Expedition. This year, all trim levels of the Expedition get more safety technology than before. They are now all equipped with Ford's Co-Pilot360 safety package with helpful features such as lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and forward collision avoidance with automatic braking. A backup camera is standard on all trims, too.

Now, all trim levels of the Expedition are available in one of two body styles. You can order your Expedition in either a regular-length version or an extended version called the Max. If you want your Ford Expedition to have a more dramatic appearance, you can outfit it with the Black Accent Package that gives the wheels, exterior trim, and body a unique coat of black paint for a dramatic finish.

2020 Expedition Has Abundant Features

Four trim levels are available in the 2020 Ford Expedition. The Expedition lineup starts with the XLT. You can order the XLT in a regular body length or an extended body length that is nine inches longer. Both versions seat eight occupants, while the extended-length version has slightly more room. The base trim's technology includes an eight-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and smartphone pairing. All trims also get a standard WiFi hotspot.

Several appearance and design packages are standard on this trim, including the Black Accent package and the FX4, which gives the trim a more utilitarian and off-road-ready look. A Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow package is available as well. The second trim called the Limited, upgrades to larger 20-inch wheels. Inside, it gets ambient interior lighting, a 12-speaker sound system, and leather seats. The King Ranch gets custom trim-specific leather seats with accent stitching and matching exterior badges. This trim gets larger 22-inch wheels as well. The Platinum gets 10-way adjustable front seats, its own custom leather seats, a wood-accented interior, and more safety technology.
