Performance
The Big Bend model features a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower. The Badlands model is powered by a 2-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 250 horsepower. While all-wheel drive is standard on the Big Bend, the Badlands features an advanced 4x4 all-wheel drive system for improved traction.
The Badlands also features several off-road-specific components, including steel skid plates, a lifted suspension, and a twin-clutch rear-drive unit. This allows for more precise power delivery in difficult conditions. While both models feature the G.O.A.T. mode system, the Big Bend provides five settings, and the Badlands offers seven, adding Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl capabilities.
Appearance
Standard exterior features differ across the lineup, beginning with the roof color. The Big Bend features a body-color roof, while the Badlands comes standard with a shadow-black roof. Both trims share a carbonized black grille with white BRONCO lettering. For those who prefer a different look, the Big Bend can be configured with body-color handles and specialized grille colors, such as ebony-black with bronze accents.
Features
The safety of passengers is supported by the Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 suite, which is standard on both the Big Bend and Badlands. The Badlands trim adds a trail view camera and sensors for the front of the vehicle. Technology upgrades in the Badlands include a 12.3-inch digital display, replacing the 8-inch screen found in the Big Bend. The Badlands also offers premium amenities, such as heated leather-trimmed seats and a heated steering wheel.
