What's New For the 2020 Ford F-150?
For years, the F-150 has been one of the most popular Ford trucks. As a fixture on the market, you wouldn't think that it needs many changes to stay ahead of its competitors. That is undoubtedly true, but Ford gives it some minor changes in 2020 to keep fans interested and attract new customers.
This year, the F-150 comes equipped with more standard safety aids, which come grouped into various packages. These features are standard on the Lariat trim level and up, while the Limited trim gets its own set of standard safety equipment. Select trims also get a special appearance package for the latest model year.
A bonus for those who like to stay connected on the go is that a 4G WiFi hotspot is now standard as well. The latest F-150 is part of the 13th generation that began in 2015. While some features are new for the F-150 this year, you'll still get exceptional towing capacities and payloads. Multiple engines give you the freedom to customize your 2020 F-150 in any way you choose.

2020 F-150 Trims & Features
The XL is the base trim level of the 2020 F-150. The XL is produced in an impressive 15 paint colors, which offers many options for a custom finish. You can also choose from five interior colors. You have a choice of two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive with the 2020 Ford F-150 as well and three truck bed styles. For safety and convenience, the XL comes with pre-wired trailer hookups and trailer sway control. A four-speaker stereo is an integral part of the sound system.
Optional packages such as the 101A let you add on power accessories, USB ports, and Bluetooth. Next, the XLT adds more in the way of style and convenience. Chrome accents (wheels and trim) give the exterior a distinguished appearance. An eight-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay comes standard as well.
The Lariat adds the convenience of keyless entry. The seats are upgraded to leather, and dual-zone air conditioning comes standard. More custom options and special packages are available with the King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims.
The Raptor, which tops the line, gets more off-road amenities such as a reinforced frame, a unique suspension system, Fox shocks, off-road tire, and a unique four-wheel-drive system. Its interior features a combination of cloth and leather.
Raw Power and Stellar Performance
A variety of engines are available with the 2020 F-150. The base is a 3.3L with six cylinders. It generates up to 290 HP and 265 LB-FT of torque. This engine is paired with an automatic 10-speed transmission. The second engine is a 2.7L V6 that produces even more power at 325 HP and 400 LB-FT of torque. The third engine, which lacks turbo, produces 395 HP and 400 LB-FT of torque. The 3.5L V6 generates up to 450 HP.
Safety that Doesn't Take a Back Seat
Safety is first and foremost a priority in the 2020 F-150. Along with a reinforced body and airbags for all, it gets adaptive cruise control with start-stop technology and lane-keep assist. Forward collision avoidance comes in handy when you're driving in tight quarters. With these added measures, the 2020 Ford F-150 is a well-rounded machine. Contact us today to schedule a test drive.
