Ford Transit Connect Horsepower

This van is powered by a 2.0-liter GDI four-cylinder engine providing 150-horsepower with 144lbs of torque. This is enough power to tow up to 2,000lbs with the available Trailer Tow Prep Package. You will get 19 city miles and 27 highway miles per gallon. That's a lot better than most of its competitors who only get 21 city miles and 28 highway miles per gallon.

2020 Ford Transit Connect Safety

To help you keep the rubber on the road, the Ford Transit offers Curve Control to slow the engine and apply the brakes when it detects you are going around a curve too fast. Standard AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control uses sensors to detect when the wheels are slipping and when you are over or understeering. If you like to tow, Trailer Sway Control will keep your trailer in your lane and out of the ditch. Side airbags are ready to deploy outward and downward to the side window, and Roll-fold technology will guide the airbag between the side windows and the passengers.

The Ford Transit offers a lot more technology to help keep you safe. Ford Co-Pilot360 comes with Cross-Traffic Alert to help check your blind spots, and a rearview camera to keep everyone safe while you're backing out of a parking spot. Auto High-Beam Headlamps will automatically light up the road, and a lane keeping system will alert you if you start leaving your lane.
