The 2022 Ford Edge has several key updates this year. The latest Edge now has standard all-wheel drive for those who want predictable traction and performance even when conditions are less than optimal. The 2022 Edge has some other updates that drivers and passengers will appreciate, too, including an updated infotainment system with a larger display screen. Across the board, there are also some aesthetic updates in store for the Edge inside and out. Along with these standard changes, the Ford Edge has some trim-specific modifications, including an off-road package for the SEL trim.

2022 Edge Trims and Features

You can choose from one of five trim levels with the 2022 Ford Edge. The Edge lineup begins with the base model called the SE. On the outside, the SE has 18-inch wheels and LED headlights. The cabin holds five people and features two comfortable rows of seats. The SE has Ford's SYNC 4A technology, which includes advanced features that allow the driver and occupants to remain connected on the road. A 4G WiFi hotspot is standard, and it provides an impressive range of up to 50 feet from the car. The SEL trim builds off the base model's list with more speakers and heated front seats that are power-adjustable. The seats are made of soft simulated leather. Navigation is available through Ford's advanced safety system, and it can get a wireless charging pad and a power liftgate. A 110V power outlet is available for this model and standard on the ST-Line, which has the remaining contents of the Convenience package along with red interior accents and glossy black wheels. Larger 19-inch wheels come with the Titanium trim level, which also has leather upholstery and a multi-way power-adjustable passenger's seat. Rain-sensing wipers are a convenient addition to the Titanium, and it also has a higher-end Bang & Olufsen stereo system with a dozen speakers. This model has more safety components, including parking sensors to help you avoid mishaps in the parking lot. With the ST model, you will get 20-inch wheels painted black and luxurious leather and suede seats. A performance package is available with 21-inch wheels and striking red brake calipers.

2022 Ford Edge Horsepower

The 2022 Ford Edge is available with two engines. The standard engine is a 2.0L turbo four-cylinder that tops out at 250 HP. Torque output for the base engine is 280 LB-FT, and it uses an 8-speed automatic transmission. The second engine comes with the ST. This engine generates 335 HP.
