New Vehicle Limited Warranty

Ford's New Vehicle Limited Warranty provides coverage if a part breaks or needs to be replaced due to manufacturing defects or faulty workmanship. It includes comprehensive Bumper to Bumper protection which lasts for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.  

Corrosion Warranty

The Corrosion Warranty covers replacement and the cost of associated labor for corrosion that damages aluminum and sheet metal body panels during the first 5 years of ownership regardless of miles driven.  It also covers paint damage caused by environmental airborne fallout for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Diesel Engine Coverage

Ford's standard factory warranty for diesel engines covers diesel-powered vehicles for 100,000 miles or five years, whichever comes first. The warranty applies to diesel engines with direct injection technology. It covers the water pump, engine, cylinder block, injectors, head gaskets, timing gear, and more.

Safety Restraint Warranty

The Safety Restraint Warranty covers the seat belts and Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) in your new Ford for up to 60,000 miles or five years, whichever comes first.

Emissions Defect Warranty

Ford's Emissions Defect Warranty provides coverage for passenger cars and light-duty trucks for 2 years or 24,000 miles while certain emissions parts are covered for 8 years or 80,000 miles. Components on heavy-duty vehicles are covered for 5 years or 50,000 miles. Check your owner's manual for complete coverage details.

Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Component Coverage

This warranty covers the various components in the electrical drivetrain system of your Ford electric car, hybrid, or hybrid plug-in. This comprehensive coverage lasts for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
