2021 Ford EcoSport

What's New For the 2021 Ford EcoSport?

The Ford EcoSport was made available to consumers in 2003. As a newer model offering, the Ford EcoSport has seen a few changes over the last few years. Though very little is new for the 2021 model of this subcompact car, you can expect to see a new appearance package, an SES trim level that offers a standard power driver's seat, and leather coverings for the Titanium model that give this trim a contemporary feel.

2021 Ford EcoSport Trims & Features

With just enough trim levels to keep consumers on the edge of their seat, the 2021 Ford EcoSport offers four different trim options to choose from. Currently, the S, SE, Titanium, and SES are the available options for 2021. Substantial upgrades in the SE trim make it the best value for the price, while consumers who enjoy top-notch features will be better off with the comprehensive SES.

The standard S trim provides everything you need in a vehicle, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. However, upgrading to the SE adds several admirable tech features. These features include Ford's SYNC 3 infotainment system, an 8-inch color touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, heated front seats and automatic climate control. The EcoSport SE offers 17-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 6-way power driver's seat, and unique cloth detail with orange accents when choosing to add on the SE Appearance package. While the Titanium offers luxury touches with chrome exterior trims and a 9-speaker Bang & Olufson audio system, the SES packs on the power with an enhanced engine, sport-tuned suspension and an all-wheel drive configuration.

2021 Ford EcoSport Horsepower

Two engine options can be found in the 2021 Ford EcoSport subcompact car. A standard turbocharged 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine accompanies the S, SE, and Titanium trim levels. The top-level SES gets a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that is equipped with Ford's intelligent all-wheel drive system. This engine is also available on lower trim levels as an optional upgrade. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Ford EcoSport Safety

Though the 2021 Ford EcoSport has not been tested and rated by national agencies, its 2020 model received high accolades at four out of five stars by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors are some of the most useful and standard safety features that accompany 2021 Ford EcoSport models.
